Customizing iPhone icons can be done in a few different ways. You can either download an iPhone app that creates shortcuts to your apps with new images, or you can change the icon images using iExplorer. You should decide based on your computer skill level.

Search for “Icons” in the search bar. Browse through the choices and read the reviews to decide which third party app you want to choose to change your icons.
    • Review the app called “App Icons” by Tap Nation. This program is available for $3.99 and lets you create your own icon or choose from pre-existing options.
    • Review “App Icons” by Happio Workshop. This free icon creator helps you customize app icons, backgrounds, borders and more. You can only get 3 free icons with your download.
    • Review the shortcut creator called CocoPPa. This free app gives you access to dozens of designs. Each time you create a shortcut, it will add a duplicate icon to the home screen. [1]
    • It is a good idea to vet any application carefully.

    • You may need to create an account in order to use the app.[2]
    • Search for apps to replace the apps you want to change.
    • Set up a link to use as a shortcut, if you are using CocoPPa.
    • You may need to rename the new backup image file to be the name of the original app, if you are using this program or other shortcut-based programs.
